Travel Vaccinations and advice

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel Valkyrie Surgery now only offers the NHS free vaccination service. 

Initial consultations will need to be completed privately with pharmacies that offer this service or, MASTA TRAVEL in Leigh on Sea, who will be able to help you (please see below).

Following your initial consultation with a pharmacy or MASTA, please bring a copy of your requirements of free NHS vaccinations, which we will be happy to help with. 

This includes:

• Diphtheria/Tetanus/Polio 
• Typhoid
• Hepatitis A

All other vaccinations can be obtained from private services and local travel clinics, which are chargeable.

Some countries require proof of vaccination (for example, for polio or yellow fever vaccination), which must be documented on an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) before you enter or when you leave a country.
